St. George

Conference weekend was a blast! Like I mentioned in a previous post, I ran the last 10 miles of the St. George Marathon with my dad. It was one of the best things I have done. It was really inspiring/motivating to be around all those marathoners on their last leg of the journey. Everyone (complete strangers to each other) encourages each other along and give each other pep talks along the way. A few times I actually teared up because I was touched by the kindness of all the runners. It also made me actually realize how far a marathon really is! Its crazy!

I was so happy I was able to spend that time with my dad and a few of his friends. I also was very proud of myself for running 10 miles without even being tired. I felt great! All that training has paid off and I can't wait for my first half marathon in 23 days!!! Wish me luck.

Below is a few video clips i filmed along the way. I took along a mini video camera to capture some of the moments. It was such a beautiful day and each time we go to St. george I fall in love with it more and more.

Enjoy the video!!!
